Get your car sticker: | Meath County Council finally begin remedial works in the village Meath County Council have finally begun to address interim road safety measures in Slane Village. Contractors were observed laying new anti-slip surfacing on the southbound side of a section of road between the entrance to Stanley Heights and the Square. Subsequent correspondence with Meath County Council has revealed that the council intend to lay further anti-slip surfacing on the hill descending into the village on the N51 Drogheda Road. This is a welcome development but must be part of an overall package of measures. It will clearly not work on its own. |
